On June 6, 2024, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), led by Director General Dr. Samuel A. Zacate, demonstrated full support for the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) held at Tagum City, an initiative aimed at bringing government services closer to the people. The Fair, led by House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, reflects the administration’s commitment to enhancing public service accessibility.

During the event, the FDA distributed approved License to Operate (LTO) and Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) to applicants. Likewise, FDA Regional Field Office No. XI conducted a two-day series of free seminars tailored for food and drug entrepreneurs. These seminars focused on regulatory compliance to licensing and product registration requirements and processes to help participants navigate industry standards and improve their business practices.

The FDA’s involvement underscores its dedication to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s vision of making government services more accessible and user-friendly, reinforcing the agency’s role in supporting local businesses and fostering a more inclusive economy.
